Anyway.....all that to say that my blogging time has been cut a little short lately due to shop SALES and packing to move. But, sounds like I might be having more time than I know what to do with soon. We'll see.
Here are some recent pictures of my shop......that I'll be saying goodbye to.....too soon.
Say a prayer for me............that this transition will be as easy as possible.
See y'all back here soon.
Oh, I know you will do well Candy. I am glad you have these pictures to remember the good times you had there. I can't wait to see your new place! Thanks for teaching me how to paint my dresser. I have put it on hold for awhile as I moved my secretary desk in the area I needed something and want to see how I like it there. Will be thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Patty.
DeleteGood luck Candy. I'm sure you will do well at your new place. Love your painted furniture.
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks for the kind words, Carlene.
DeleteI am a believer in one door closes and another opens..Do you know at one time in my live...I had never read a blog.Today I am the same biz as you...but never on my own ....I wanted less stress and doing it within a antique mall has been great...so all the best. One door closing another will open with open arms to you and your talents
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathryn. My sales at the mall have been really good. And, actually I haven't had time to process everything (reprice and get to the booth). So, I agree with you. Better days are on the way.
DeleteGood Luck wishes to you Candy!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will do fine in your new spot!
You do wonderful work ~ people will seek you out!
Prim Blessings

Robin..........thanks soooo very much for the encouragement.
DeleteChanges are scary sometimes but me too, I know you'll do wonderful at your new place, be sure to take pictures and share with us once you've settled down:)
ReplyDeleteHaving your own store must be a lot of work so take a good care of yourself too, I'm currently selling my stuff off of Craig's list and dreaming to have my own store...one day....Lucky you:)
Best wishes!!
Hugs,
Sayuri
Thanks for understanding and encouraging me, Sayuri. I always appreicate your comments. And, hey, I loved having my own shop, but you are really soooo very tied down when you do have your own place. It makes it hard to do what we love.........PAINT. So, maybe you already have the best of our creative world.
DeleteCOME BACK TO VISIT SOON. I've got to get myself back into my bloggin britches and put some post on here soon.
Good luck with you move, I did one last February from a shop, it turns out the shop I'm at now is working out so much better.
ReplyDeleteGreat Cathy. I'm so glad things are working out for you and I know this move will be good for me too. I've just had my own business for years. But, I'm already enjoying the freedom and hope to have much more time to PAINT.
DeleteI was so sad to see your store close, but am so glad you have two booths on the square! I have got to check them out soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah Jane. It was unexpected and a bit of a shock and I wasn't too happy at first. But, I'm starting to like the freedom and I think everything will work out for the best. YES, please go visit my booths. Kim's new shop is great. And, of course, New Moon is amazing. Hope to see you soon.
