TURQUOISE CHALK PAINT BEDSIDE TABLE

Remember this photo from my last post???


Here's the way this lil table looked BEFORE I painted it with a couple coats of my homemade chalk paint. That recipe is found HERE.


Then the entire piece is lightly sanded, but sanding more on the edges and any area that would normally get more wear.




Now, I brush on Minwax Special Walnut stain................and then wipe it off using a soft cloth, leaving more in the nooks and crannies to accentuate the detail.


Put the hardware back on........loved it just as it was.
And, that's it.  She's done.  I love this little table.

  11. What I think - pretty darn pretty! Love the color, but really like the aged down look. Your table really started with a lot of character but now it zooms of the chart. Lovely indeed! So glad you shared your creative inspiration with Sunday's Best!
