Look on the next page for the 'process'.
Chalk paint is now my weapon of choice. So, I mixed up a batch of HOMEMADE chalk paint, using the plaster of Paris recipe found HERE. Then I tackled this little girl to give her a new look. First she got two coats of the new mixture. Then...................
sand all around the edges. Plus, the chalk paint leaves a rough finish, so I sand that just a bit too.
Then, brush Minwax stain on. I do a small area at a time, then wipe it off with a soft cloth or paper towel. Leave the stain in the nooks and crannies.
So, here she is with her new makeup. What cha think?
Check back tomorrow and I'll show you what I did to the seat.
See ya'll then. 8-)
